On the weekend of October 24th 2015, twenty three EIP students carried out a Global Warming and Human Right’s Workshop in Tha War Thaw Village.

The Workshop was held to inform their community on methods of protecting the environment.

“International Human Rights were taught to empower the community and build respect among soldiers and villagers” said Ms. Julia, a teacher for EIP.

After the workshop, EIP students and villagers dug a landfill for collecting plastic and other rubbish. “ They now know their rights and can respect other's rights, the villagers start to practice to throw the rubbish systematically and creating fertilizer. Therefore, the village is changing and more clear than in the past, said Hser Blut , a student at EIP.A villager said, “Now I know my right so other people cannot abuse my right easily”.
